About Me: Chelsea Ady

Hello World,
I am Chelsea Marie Cecilia Ady.

My mom wanted to name me Allison Ann Ady; my dad said it sounded too much like Alice in Wonderland. They agreed on Chelsea.

I was not named after Chelsea Clinton, even though her father was in office when I was born. As die-hard Republicans, my family did not appreciate when people found my name to be a cute allusion. My mom found "Chelsea" in a baby book and liked it because the book said "Chelsea" connotates professionalism and success. We'll just see about that! Marie was my grandmother's name, and another name my mom liked in the book. Cecilia is the name I adapted in my Catholic coming-of-age ceremony where I pledged allegiance to God. Saint Cecilia is the patron saint of music. Ady? Well, there wasn't much choice in that. It's Hungarian and it sounds like a number.

Recently, I rededicated my life to Christ and the total overhaul of this site stems from my revival. As a reflection of my life and mind, this blog could not stay in the previous poor disarray and still maintain my new insights to life. I have always been absolutely in love with God; I just experienced an expanse of time where I didn't really have a clear definition for God. (Explanation Blog Post) I hope you enjoy exploring this new growth as it unfolds before me!

In this blog, you will find many different topics reflecting the facets of my life: writing, ministry, psychology, and philosophy. Additional topics may cover specific passion causes in my life such as homosexuality acceptance and support for our military.

When  I was in fifth grade, I decided I absolutely had to be a teacher. This passion has not changed in the years since. The subject I desired to teach changed several times, but this career path remained steadfast. I currently attend Spring Arbor University pursuing a degree in music education. I owe all thanks to my music director for pointing out my strengths and debunking my percieved deal-breaking weaknesses; because of the conversation we held about the music world, I decided that this career is not too far out of my reach.

My secondary career, a career I plan to embark on out of sheer enjoyment, is writing. After I graduate from SAU, I will begin the long steps to being a published author.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me. However, the individual posts will provide more insight into the type of person I am and the person I will become.

I'm on the right road now; my past colors a vivid landscape lining the asphalt behind me, and my future, so far unseen, is still in the palm of God's hand.

God Bless!

Love,
Chels
